About the Foundation
Believing that an education rooted in the values of Judaism is critical to the development of a strong Jewish identity, Debra and David Magerman established the Kohelet Foundation in 2008. While the foundation’s programs and initiatives are diverse and touch a wide range of people, schools and organizations, the core value of fostering commitment to Jewish learning and living is the heart of the foundation’s mission. The Kohelet Foundation is a private foundation classified as tax exempt under section 510(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
