For more than 100 years, Abrams Hebrew Academy has been making a difference in young lives. Our educational mission embraces the integration of Jewish and general studies, innovation and excellence. Our students thrive on an advanced curriculum focused on language arts, sciences, social studies and mathematics. Studies in Hebrew language, Jewish history, Torah and prayer give them a firm foundation in their heritage. Abrams students receive the best of both worlds, and the balanced nature of their education serves them as a model for contemporary Jewish living.

The TIPSY Grant being offered by the Kohelet Foundation to new Abrams Kindergarten students will make an Abrams education even more accessible for the long-term for families who might be concerned about the cost of an Abrams education. This grant will continue with these students at Abrams through 5th grade. One unique aspect of Abrams’ TIPSY Grant is that families who participate in the program must also join a synagogue, building Jewish community not only within the halls of Abrams, but outside as well. Each family who joins a participating synagogue will receive up to $1,500 towards annual synagogue dues.
