David M. Magerman
David M. Magerman is the president and founder of the Kohelet Foundation.
David is the former head of production for Renaissance Technologies, a hedge fund management firm which manages the Medallion Fund, the Meritage Fund, and the Renaissance Institutional Equities Fund. He worked at Renaissance from 1995 until 2008, helping to design their equities trading system. Before coming to Renaissance, David was an artificial intelligence researcher at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, developing statistical methods for understanding speech and language. He is on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering.
David and his wife Debra live in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania with their three children.
